Keiran Watson-Bonnice’s short film, CARAVAN, has been selected for competition at the 64th Melbourne International Short Film Festival. It will screen as part of the Accelerator Program.
MIFF Accelerator provides four days of workshops, screenings, seminars and networking events on the business and creative aspects of the film industry by leading local and international film practitioners for 15-20 short film directors seeking to make the transition to feature filmmaking. MIFF Accelerator occurs during the MIFF weekend of shorts screenings which includes public screenings of the Accelerator participants’ short films in specially-tagged Accelerator Screenings to the general public and concludes with the MIFF Shorts Awards. MIFF is an Academy® accredited festival. The winners of the following awards are eligible to enter the Oscars® competition: Grand Prix, Best Fiction, Best Animation and Best Experimental.
CARAVAN has previously played at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (France), Flickerfest International Short Film Festival (Australia), Glasgow Short Film Festival (Scotland), Omaha Film Festival (USA), IFFBoston (USA), Maryland Film Festival (USA), Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (Japan), Revelation – Perth International Film Festival (Australia). During the month of July, CARAVAN will screen at Lago Film Fest (Italy), Kratkofil Plus International Film Festival (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Athens International Short Film Festival (Greece).
